All Care Courses (with the exception of Medication Procedures in Child Care) are accepted by the Colorado Department of Human Services toward the 15 training hours required of those who work in child care centers, family child care homes and school age centers. This includes directors, substitute directors, early childhood teachers, kindergarten teachers, staff aides, volunteers, licensees, employees, providers, substitute providers, experienced child care providers, program directors, program leaders, and program aides.
Our course, Transportation Safety, may be used for annual training hours in Colorado, but it does not meet the Colorado Precautions in Transporting Children training requirement.
Care Courses may be used towards the 30 points of ongoing professional development hours & CEUs needed for the Colorado Early Childhood Professional Credential 2.0. Care Courses is approved by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and our certificates of completion display the IACET logo. Care Courses grant clock hours and IACET CEUs.
