All Care Courses that grant 2 or more clock hours (with the exception of Keeping Infants Safe) are accepted by the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) Licensing Division for in-service and annual training requirements for those working in licensed and certified child care centers as well as family child care providers.
All Care Courses that grant 2 or more clock hours (with the exception of Keeping Infants Safe) are approved by Achieve (the Minnesota Center for Professional Development) toward steps 1-5 on the Minnesota Career Lattice. All Care Courses that grant 2 or more clock hours have approved training events in the Minnesota Develop Registry.
For Minnesota Develop training credit, please add your Minnesota Develop Registry ID number to the registry ID field in your Care Courses account.
Please note: Our 2-hour course, Transportation Safety may not meet Minnesota licensing requirements. Always check with your licensor to ensure you are meeting training requirements related to Minnesota Statute sections 245A.41 and 245A.50.

Parent Aware requires that all lead providers and lead teachers participating in the Accelerated Pathway to Ratings or the Full Rating Pathway complete professional development in specific Minnesota Knowledge and Competency Content Areas every five years. Minnesota’s Knowledge and Competency Framework Content Areas will be printed on your Care Courses certificates.
