All Care Courses are accepted by the Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) towards the 10 clock hours (or 1 CEU) of in-service childcare training required for those who work in family child care homes, large family child care homes and child care facilities/centers. This includes DCF training for directors, employees, operators, providers and substitutes.
All Care Courses are accepted for the 4.5 CEUs needed to renew the Florida Staff Credentials and FCCPC Credential. This includes renewing your FCCPC Credential, CDA Credential, Florida Birth through Five Child Care Credential, the Florida School Age Child Care Credential, and the Florida Director’s Credential. Care Courses is an IACET-authorized CEU Provider and all of our courses offer IACET CEUs.
Using Care Courses to obtain a National CDA Credential qualifies you for the Florida Child Care Staff Credential. A National CDA is equivalent to the Florida Child Care Professional Credential (FCCPC) when applying for a Florida Staff Credential.
Once you obtain your National CDA, you may use Care Courses' discounted CDA renewal sets to renew your CDA and Florida Staff Credential. Florida DCF defines the National CDA as a National Early Childhood Credential (NECC).
