Nova Scotia Childcare Training Requirements

Care Courses cannot be used to obtain a diploma in Nova Scotia.

Classification Services may require a rationale for how Care Courses support your on-going professional development plan should these courses be submitted to fulfill the 30 hours required to maintain a Classification.

Care Courses related to child abuse and neglect are not eligible for professional development hours.
